Tate Museum Education Specialist
Russell was born in Seattle, Washington and graduated from High School in Colorado Springs. While getting his art degree, he worked as a sort of freelance elementary science teacher, and helped with Dr. Robert Bakker's palaeontological excavations during the summers. His first museum job was with the Raptors to Rex dinosaur predators traveling exhibit in Michigan.

Personal: Hobbies include stargazing, origami, identifying seashells and reading science fiction. My wife and I have no children but she does have a pet rat.
